Citrix recently reported Q2 2011 earnings, which was accompanied by the customary Q&A session for analysts. It’s somewhat puzzling to see the Citrix CFO admit that they are not focused on server virtualization. In fact, he even jumped at the chance to praise Hyper-V. Here is the excerpt:

Xen, the early favorite to win the open source virtualization crown, is passed over in favor of KVM at select hosting and cloud providers. Problems with Xen's lack of integration into the main Linux kernel hobbled the hypervisor, and KVM's integrated position within the Linux kernel is cementing its role in the community.
